Product, Docs and Website Terms of Use

  1. Introduction

    These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

    • The Maptaskr website (www.maptaskr.com)

    • The Maptaskr Power Maps documentation site (https://powermapsdocs.maptaskr.com)

    • The installation, configuration, and registration of Maptaskr Power Maps and related Solution Accelerators (including Field Operations, Sales Management, and Customer Engagement solutions)

By accessing these sites or installing and registering Maptaskr Power Maps, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Additional terms, including the Maptaskr Master Subscription Agreement (MSA), govern your subscription, licensing, and ongoing use of our products. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the MSA, the MSA will prevail.

2. Use of the Website and Documentation

The content on the Maptaskr website and documentation site is provided for general informational purposes only.
You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content without prior written permission

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or damage the sites or their functionality

  • Use the sites in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in the websites, documentation, and related materials (including text, images, graphics, logos, trade names, and product descriptions) are owned or licensed by Maptaskr Pty Ltd.

3. Installation and Use of Maptaskr Power Maps and Solution Accelerators

Maptaskr Power Maps and its associated Solution Accelerators are software components that install directly within your Microsoft environment, including Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Pages.

All business data processed through these products remains entirely within your Microsoft tenant and under your organisation’s control. Maptaskr does not access, store, or transfer your business data.

When you install or register Maptaskr Power Maps or any Solution Accelerator, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product in accordance with the MSA and applicable subscription terms.

You may not:

  • Sub-license, sell, or otherwise transfer your rights

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software

  • Use the software for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful purpose

4. Registration and Licensing

To activate Maptaskr Power Maps or a Solution Accelerator, you must provide accurate registration details. Product activation and continued access may depend on valid licensing verification. Your right to use the product is subject to the subscription terms set out in the MSA and applicable AppSource or enterprise licensing agreement. Maptaskr reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for invalid, expired, or misused licenses.

5. Privacy and Telemetry

Maptaskr is committed to protecting your privacy.

Maptaskr Power Maps collects only limited information necessary for activation, support, and product improvement, including:

  • Registration details you provide during setup or support

  • Telemetry data: minimal diagnostic events (required) and optional, anonymous usage data (with opt-out available)

No personal or business data from your Microsoft environment is ever collected through telemetry.

6. Maptaskr Map Services

Maptaskr provides certain mapping-related services as part of the Maptaskr Power Maps product, including but not limited to base map tile services, address search, location search, and region search (collectively, the "Maptaskr Map Services", referenced in the Maptaskr Power Maps product simply as the "Maptaskr Provider"). These services are operated and hosted by Maptaskr and are provided solely for use within the Maptaskr Power Maps product by licensed users.

The Maptaskr Map Services are provided as a convenience add-on to the Maptaskr Power Maps product. Maptaskr may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue the Maptaskr Map Services, in whole or in part, at any time and at its sole discretion.

Nothing in these Terms obligates Maptaskr to provide the Maptaskr Map Services on a continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free basis.

No Service Level Agreement

The Maptaskr Map Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Maptaskr does not provide any service level agreement (SLA), uptime guarantee, availability commitment, performance guarantee, or response-time assurance for the Maptaskr Map Services.

Maptaskr expressly disclaims any warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or merchantability.

Availability and Interruptions

Access to the Maptaskr Map Services may be subject to planned or unplanned interruptions, including but not limited to maintenance, upgrades, capacity constraints, system failures, network outages, or events outside of Maptaskr’s reasonable control.

Maptaskr shall not be liable for any downtime, service interruption, degradation, or unavailability of the Maptaskr Map Services, regardless of cause.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maptaskr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Maptaskr Map Services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, business interruption, or any other financial or economic loss, even if Maptaskr has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Without limiting the foregoing, Maptaskr shall not be responsible for any losses, costs, damages, or claims arising from or related to any outage, disruption, suspension, or unavailability of the Maptaskr Map Services.

Use at Customer’s Risk

Customers acknowledge and agree that use of the Maptaskr Map Services is at their own risk. Customers are responsible for determining whether the Maptaskr Map Services are suitable for their intended use and for implementing appropriate contingency measures, including the use of alternative or third-party mapping providers where higher availability or service guarantees are required.

Suspension and Termination

Maptaskr reserves the right to monitor usage of the Maptaskr Map Services and to suspend or terminate access to the Maptaskr Map Services, without liability, where usage exceeds acceptable use thresholds, negatively impacts platform stability, or adversely affects other customers.

Suspension may remain in effect until usage is reduced to acceptable levels, or permanently where repeated or severe misuse occurs.

Changes to Services

Maptaskr may update, change, or discontinue any aspect of the Maptaskr Map Services at any time. Continued use of the Maptaskr Map Services following any such change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Disclaimers

The websites, documentation, and Solution Accelerators are provided “as is” for general information and convenience.

While Maptaskr makes reasonable efforts to ensure content accuracy, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information provided. Product performance, functionality, and support are governed solely by the terms of the MSA.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maptaskr Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of data, profits, or business opportunity) arising from or relating to your use of the websites, documentation, Maptaskr Power Maps, or Solution Accelerators.

Specific limitations of liability related to product usage, availability, or performance are detailed within the MSA.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and any other courts of competent jurisdiction globally. This allows Maptaskr to enforce its rights or defend claims in any jurisdiction where its products are used or distributed.

10. Modifications

Maptaskr may update or revise these Terms periodically to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or evolving best practices. The latest version will always be available on this page and supersedes previous versions.
